Individuals with Autism tend to show a natural ability for art. It is the perfect medium to communicate their world and their feelings, in particular with those who are non verbal.
The AASS Autism Art Group is aimed at 7-15 year olds, in particular those who are no longer eligible for funding or therapies. The children are able to express themselves through the various types of arts and crafts we offer - painting, pottery, mosaics etc
Last year our group entered the Fishers Ghost Art Competition where one of our participants won 1st prize.
