Sydney Coastrek 2019 for Fred Hollows

Sydney Coastrek is a team trekking challenge on Fri 15th March. Teams of 4, will trek either 30km from Rushcutters Bay to Manly; or 60km from Maroubra to Manly, getting fit while raising money to restore sight.

Sydney Coastrek 2019 is a major fundraising event for The Fred Hollows Foundation's sight restoring work. Volunteers are essential to the success of the event, bringing their organisational skills, smiles, helpfulness and encouragement of the trekkers.
Volunteer shifts are available throughout the day and evening, and are performed on site at the start/registration, checkpoints or the finish line, as well as route marshal roles anywhere along the 60km route - between Maroubra, Vaucluse, Rushcutters Bay, Clifton Gardens and Balgowlah Heights (west of Manly). Groups of friends or work mates are able to work together at one site if preferred. You'll have loads of fun in a beautiful location and help The Foundation to restore sight.  All volunteers will receive a small gift to wear on the day, refreshments and a FREE entry to participate in a Coastrek event within 12 mths of the Sydney event.
Points to note
Expressions of interest should be made asap to get your shift/location preference, as we are allocating volunteers as soon as they register from January 2019.
