Imagine life without water when we turn the tap; now imagine having to walk 6km to find even dirty water; now wait for 2-3 hours in line; then returning whilst carrying a load of 20kg.

Over 800,000 people die annually from not having access to clean water, and HFA is working tirelessly to ensure communities around the world do not need to struggle for water any longer.

HFA aims to provide solutions and not replace a problem with another one. Currently we are raising funds for boreholes around Africa.

Each borehole costs 23-33k AUD and provides solar powered pumps to tanks of up to 10,000 litres and up to 10 taps piped to different areas working simultaneously, alleviating wait and walk times.

The benefits to families and villages are innumerable, with livestock able to be maintained, and children able to attend to their education.
