One Girl is a not-for-profit organisation harnessing the power of education to drive change for girls and their communities. We believe that every girl on the planet has the right to an education. No matter where she is born, how much her family earns, what religion she adheres to, or what her culture says - every girl deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and be the best she can be. And when you educate a girl, she can change her world.
For every year a girl can stay in school, her income will increase between 10 and 25 percent. And for every dollar she earns, she'll reinvest 90 percent of it back into her family. She’s less likely to be sold as a child bride, and she can marry later and have children when she’s ready.
And the best bit? She’s more likely to educate her own children – creating a ripple effect of opportunity that will benefit generations to come.

- Scholarships to provide girls with everything they need for school – all the way through to graduation;
- Business Brains training to equip girls with the business skills and financial literacy they need to earn an income while they’re in school and beyond;
- School Awesomisation to construct toilets in schools so girls have privacy during their period, rather than having to stay home until their period finishes; and
- LaunchPad to give girls access to affordable, biodegradable sanitary pads, and educate them on menstrual health and hygiene.
